George Soros And Other Top Clinton Donors Hold A Closed-Door Meeting

The election of Donald Trump as the next president of the United States has sent many influential individuals back to the drawing board. They include notable people. They are the major liberal funders like George Soros, Elizabeth Warren, Pelosi, and Ellison. The group, together with other union bosses on Investopedia, kicked off a closed-door meeting on Sunday. The meeting will be focusing on how to retool the big money left to fight back against the President-elect.

Soros and other wealthy liberals donated tens of millions of dollars towards Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaigns. These individuals hoped the donations would enable Clinton to reach out to more Americans and convince them to vote for her during last week’s election. Although Clinton managed to get majority of the votes, she did not garner the 270 colleges needed to win the presidential election. Personally, Soros donated over $25 million, making him one of the major donors to the presidential campaigns.

The meeting, which is being held at the pricey Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington DC, will last for three days. The Democracy Alliance is funding the event. Sources close the meeting revealed that Sen. Elizabeth Warren, House Democratic leader, Nancy Pelosi, and Congressional Progressive Caucus co-chairman, Keith Ellison, would attend the meeting.

The Mandarin Oriental meeting will be the first major gathering of Hillary Clinton sponsors since Trump’s shocking victory. It is evident from the contents of the leaked agenda that the liberals plan to stage a full-on trench warfare against the President-elect. The plan involves working on the 2017 and 2018 elections and thwarting Trump’s 100-day plan that includes undermining achievements made by President Barrack Obama. The team believes that the program will enable all Americans to continue enjoying equitable services regardless of Trump being the president.
