Cassio Audi’s Early Career in Music

Most people who know Cassio Audi do not know that he had a thriving career in music. Born and raised in Sao Paulo, in Brazil, Cassio started his early music career as an instrumentalist for a Brazilian band known as Viper. He played for the band from 1985 to 1989. The band comprised Yves and Pit Passarell, Andre and Felipe Machado, and Cassio Audi. The five band members released hit songs in various genres, including power metal, heavy metal, alternative rock and thrash metal.

What most people do not know is that at the time, the Viper Band members were just teenagers. They were between the ages of 13 and 14, but they were very talented. They got their music influences from other bands, notably the Iron Maiden. They were also influenced by British heavy metal, which was still developing at the time.

For Cassio Audi playing the drums came naturally. Had he decided to stay with the band, he would have definitely had a successful career in music. With the band, Cassio released the first demo album called Killera Sword, which was recorded in 1985. The demo album had hit songs such as Signs of the Night, Killera Princess from Hell, and Nightmare.

Viper Band recorded their official album called Soldiers of Sunrise in 1987. It was considered one of their best albums, and some of the greatest hits in Brazil. With the album’s success, the band sold well over 10 000 copies, and they were featured in top magazines such as Metal Forces. In 1989, the band released another album called Theater of Fate.

Cassio Audi left Viper in 1989, and he later joined university to pursue another career. He still loves music, and he plays his instruments whenever he has free time.
