In recent news, there have been a number of cases of civilians being accused of stealing the valor of our nation’s service members. Most of them wearing uniforms decorated with medals and ranks they never earned, even some having never have served said webnode.com
. While these cases are all appalling, they are essentially small cases that happen at your local malls or airports said Gianfrancesco Genoso. However, there is a bigger story that has veterans outraged at the left leaning media and it’s more than just for their political views. This time Brian Williams
has admitted to lying to the American people for events that occurred in the sky’s over Iraq some twelve years ago. When he first told the story, he said he was in a helicopter that was hit by a Rocket Propelled Grenade while he was flying over the war torn country.
However, veterans have come out of the wood work to expose his bold face lie. Most of his accusers were either in the helicopter with him at the time, or in the sky close to his location, or even in the actual helicopter that was hit. Now he has apologized, for his “mistake” in his reporting of the incident. But as he is learning veterans are not going to be quick to support someone who wants to over dramatize his experiences in a combat environment. This is especially true when it comes to a reporter who has gained a lot of notoriety and fame from his reporting.
